John discovered music early in life, and hasn't stopped singing since, from All-Eastern Chorus in high school, to Musical Director of the Nassoons, Princeton's oldest a cappella group, to many groups since (choral, chamber, vocal jazz, contemporary a cappella).  After college, John discovered barbershop in Santa Cruz, CA, where he would later return to direct, after a stint as assistant director with the Bay Area Metro chorus.  While he enjoyed the experience, John realized he'd rather spend his time on stage facing the audience, and retired from directing to join Voices in Harmony.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from San Jose State University.  He is a BHS Certified Singing Category Judge and Past Singing Category Specialist.  Chris previously directed the San Jose Garden City Chorus for 13 years, directing them to the FWD Chorus Championship in 2002.
